Guilds of Manzoa
POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE :
It is with great sadness that we will be forced to postpone the production of "Guilds of Manzoa" until further notice due to the spread of Covid-19. The Grand Lodge of Oregon has banned all gatherings at all of the lodges in the state, including Samaritan Odd Fellows Lodge, so our venue has closed indefinitely, leaving us without a rehearsal space or show location. On top of that, Oregon continues to close many public entertainment spaces and put bans on crowds of any kind. It seems prudent to postpone in the current climate.
At the very least, we WILL re-mount the production in March 2021 (if the world doesn't end by then). We may also produce an "in concert" version of the show in the summer as a fundraiser.
If you have purchased tickets already, we will be contacting you soon to arrange "roll over" tickets or refunds.
Thank you for your continued support of Torchsong Entertainment, and we hope to be back performing live shows in the coming months. We encourage you to subscribe to our YouTube channel for fun singalong and song parody videos to tide you over until then : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzJrSvCkwq0w0jGrx1RrLeg?

Jaimie, Max, Spencer, Kelly, and Steve are your typical Dungeons & Dragons group with their typical campaign. That is until the group decides to "branch out" and play a mysterious role playing game called The Guilds of Manzoa. Through the game, the group of friends is transported to a fantasy world where they discover 3 elder dragons (posing as greedy billionaire business moguls in the real world) that control both realms with their hoards of wealth. In order to save mankind they must band together and destroy the evil dragons.
Guilds of Manzoa is a hilarious musical teaming with fantasy tropes, meta humor, and overall nerdiness that any fantasy or D&D fan will love. It’s a quirky and campy adventure tale with a sprinkle of socioeconomic satire. The score is a mix of traditional power metal, heavy metal, classic rock, and even rap/rock with hilarious lyrics reminiscent of hammy Broadway shows like The Book of Mormon and Spamalot.
Rated PG for some adult language. Recommended for ages 8 and up.

Did you ever wonder what it would be like to share an intimate evening of dinner and drinks with your favorite female singers from history? Join us for an immersive and empowering musical celebration of icons like Aretha Franklin, Celine Dion, Lady Gaga, Nancy Wilson, Joan Jett, P!nk, Stevie Nicks, and more.
Icons is a celebration of women who have left an undeniable footprint of musicality, creativity, positive activism and world changes in the entertainment industry. Many of these women have endured difficulties in a male dominated industry but have pushed through the obstacles to pave a way for female entertainers and artists to succeed.
We celebrate our wonderful female icons by representing them in body and spirit. Each woman we are celebrating has a story. “Icons” tells a portion of their story through song, music and dialog.
Our exceptional cast of female singers will represent divas like Aretha Franklin, Celine Dion, Lady Gaga, Nancy Wilson, Joan Jett, P!nk, Stevie Nicks, Cyndi Lauper, Annie Lennox, Christina Aguilera, and more, performing their most iconic songs with a live band. Through an immersive cocktail hour and intermission, audiences will get to mingle and interact with these performers and learn more about their life and music while enjoying all of the delicious offerings from Culture Mediteranian Restaurant’s exceptional menu.
10% of the proceeds from the cabaret will benefit Rose Haven Women’s Shelter.
Rose Haven is a day shelter and community center serving women, children and gender non-conforming folks experiencing the trauma of abuse, loss of home and other disruptive life challenges. They break the cycle of homelessness by providing meals, clothing, first aid, mailing addresses, hygiene, restrooms, showers as well as educational programs and guidance through medical and social services. By meeting basic needs and building trust, they empower their guests to explore long-term change. https://rosehaven.org .
